![]() I used to use FSBuild to create the route, then use ActiveSky to get the flight time adjusted for wind and then calculate fuel manually. ![]() Several aircraft profiles are built in, been using the 777-200LR profile with the PMDG 777 and so far it has been within 3,000 lbs of expected fuel at destination, not bad on 15 hour flights. Doesn't just find the shortest route but takes the winds aloft into account. When flying between cities where a flightaware route is not available, this option is quite nice. ![]() Generates a "wind optimized" route if you don't enter one manually. I was in the same boat as you, FSBuild, flightaware and AS2012. For those of you who have already started using PFPX, would you share your thoughts on the program itself and also tell whether PFPX exports to the various aircraft databases as "company flights" for easy input? Thank you. ![]() One of the benefits is that the built plans are automatically exported to FS9/FSX and the FMC databases for the aircraft I fly. I tie in ActiveSky for the winds aloft data. I use FSBuild and the most current Flight Aware flight plans for my own flights. Delta Virtual Airlines Water Cooler | General Aviation Discussion |
